I bought this heater because the fire department approved it for use in my office building and my office gets cold. It works well and makes my office nice and toasty. It needs some time to warm up, but once it does it works great. It makes no noise and there is no smell. I placed it under my desk by my feet. Because of its weight and bulk, it’s the type of heater to put in place and leave versus trying to move it around.
